A most basic question re media folders in Settings

Postby pdenny » Mon Jul 24, 2017 4:52 am

Just installed the Subsonic server and I have a newbieish simple question--how do I specify the path to an external hard drive? I have a 3T hd where I keep my music files but when I enter "Mac/3T/Music" settings displays "not found". So what is the magic formula? I've tried several combinations to no avail--any help most appreciated! Thanks!

Use "mount" command, it'll show a line with the real path of your 3TB HDD :)

Thanks for the fast response, Tak-MK! I actually tried the CD command in Terminal, got the path (in my case :"/Volumes/3T\ The\ Sequel\ 1"), took out the \'s between the words in the name of the drive, added the name of the desired folder, and voila!
