I'm trying to add a password protected stream and it worked before updating to 6.1
For example, this feed:
https://USER:PASS@stitcher-rss.128.io/shows/123497/feed just adds the link but doesn't parse it or show any episodes

Wanted to bump this.. The way subsonic handles podcasts is LITERALLY my only problem with it. Like OP said if in-lining user credentials into a HTTPS URL, an error is produced. This used to work at least with non-https feeds (for the love of god make sure the password is a one-off and there is nothing you need secured on that site), but I can't verify that now.
We really really need a way to add user credentials for protected podcasts! I have been struggling with this since I started using subsonic many years ago!

javax.net.ssl.SSLException: java.security.ProviderException: java.security.InvalidKeyException: EC parameters error
