subsonic not displaying media

I have a fresh install of subsonic. I set permissions on the Music directory to 775. Subsonic runs a root anyway. When I scan, I see the number count on the right panel going up, yet the index show no media.

What does your log file say after it scans? You can see the last entries by clicking on the Subsonic icon on the left-hand menu.

What he says, and also even admin needs permissions in Settings..rather counterintuitive, but there you go.
