Don't install the Subsonic on windows server 2012

Hello everyone! I can't install the Subsonic on Windows Server 2012. The reaison in brief:when i'm trying to install it's then comes out «extract: error writing to file ffmpeg.exe» What should i do? Sorry for the mistake in english.

Did you try downloading another version of the installer?
Seems to me that the package is corrupt.
another possibility could be your virusscanner giving a false positive and preventing the file ffmpeg.exe to be created.
I can asure you that the official Subsonic installer contains no virusses.

Hi, toolman. I was trying to install another version of installer. In anothers versions are all still. The package i was downloading across the officialy web-site of subsonic and the installer is officialy too

You could try disabling any virusscanner you have installed on your server for the time it takes Subsonic to install.
You could also try to run the installer as administrator.
Does the installation abort after the errormessage?
If not you can use 7-zip to extract subsonic-6.1.1-setup.exe and find in the folder "subsonic-6.1.1-setup\c_\subsonic\transcode" ffmpeg.exe and lame.exe which you have to move to your installation folder. (subsonic\transcode).

Just ignore this post from the OP. I have been running Subsonic on Server 2012 since 2012 came out without any problems.

I had Subsonic installed on almost every Windows edition starting from XP to Server 2012 and I never experienced any problems installing or running Subsonic.
But that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to help someone experiencing problems.
