Problems "seeing" the artist .38 Special

Postby Pazman68 » Tue Nov 21, 2017 5:31 am

I have several albums from the band .38 Special in a folder called ".38 Special" alongside many folders for other artists. The other artists show up fine, but none of the .38 Special albums or songs seem to appear in Subsonic. Any suggestions?

I am pretty sure the name of the band is 38 Special. Fix that and your problem is solved :D

on Unix file systems (including OSX), a "dot" file or folder is meant to be hidden/invisible. Subsonic may intentionally be choosing not to traverse them as an optimization.

I agree, just rename it to 38 Special. Last.fm will still associate it correctly I believe.
