Hi there is there a maximum number of device allowed from 1 user name and password if not is there a way of doing this so it is a maximum of 2 devices per username

That is a functionality I'd like. Along with IP tracking, so you can see the IP of any connected user.

No there isn't. Any user can start as much sessions as he or she likes. If you visit the subsonic demo site (http://demo.subsonic.org), you'll notice that there are numerous users logged in on the guest-account.
Also there's no way to prevent users to start multiple sessions from different devices or ip-adresses.
