can't update xxx.molorus.org for remote access

I've set up port forwarding on 4040/tcp to my installation of subsonic premium 6.0 running on debian 8.1
At my previous apartment I had the same setup and registered molorus.subsonic.org.
Currently that record has my old IP address - 52.51.15.224. I've since moved and have a new IP address. (73.222.135.xxx)
I've gone to the settings, network page, and am unable to create a record with my current IP address.

I've unchecked the option to access my server over the internet, and hit save. I see a message "Unregistering IP address...."
I've rechecked that option, set a new name, and checked the new record and found it still has the same old ip address.
It's like the IP is tied to the license id and can't be updated once created?

Hi,
The address that the paid version of Subsonic grants you is a domain redirection and not a domain registration. So there's no MX records.
Whenever you try to resolve your subsonic.org adress it will always come up with the ip-adress 52.51.15.224. ( Which you think is your old ip-adress.)
Don't change anything in your Subsonic setup and just wait. Eventually you will get the "Successfully registered web address. " message again.
