Hi folks,

I just installed the latest version from the website - 6.1.3 and I used the RPM and installed it on CentOS 7.3.1611
I went to localhost:4040 and all looks good.
I point it at my media directory and get it to scan.
The message at the top right counted up as it was scanning my media.
And now nothing - no songs show up anywhere.
"Recently added" is completely blank.
So is "All:

Not sure what to do next to debug. I restarted the service and same thing.

thanks,
-Alan

Did you make sure that the account you are using has the correct priviliges to acces your music-folders?
You might presume that the admin account has the privilege automatically, but in Subsonic that is not so.

It warned me that the daemon was running as root and I did not change that yet, so it should have permissions.

Ok, but did you check Settings >> Users >> (Account you are using) >> Allow access to these media folders: ?
If you have no acces to mediafolders, you will not be able to play anything, so if you don't have acces to any media folder you will have to change that.
No matter what Subsonic tells you.
