Hi everybody,
I am trying to add support for wavpac files (wv extension). These are the steps that I followed:
1. I added the wv extension in general/settings/music files
2. I added the wv in settings/transcoding/convert from
3. I forced the scanning of the media folders "scan media folders manually"
4. Wait for the media folders scan to finish.
but my .wv files does not appear in subsonic. My albums are empty with no wv tracks!
Please advice.

I figured myself, and I think this might be a bug.
Only after updating modification time of the folder (via touch command), the folder is listed with the wv files inside. No need to reescan.
Subsonic should do it during the scanning of folders regardless of the modification time!

Strange. I tried your steps.
Subsonic picked up the new album with wv-files I added without any further action on my part.
Just started a folderscan and waited for the scan to complete.
On my homepage with filter set to show recently added albums, the album appeared immediatly containing all the wv-files.

Hello toolman,
It worked for you because you added a new folder with the wv files thus the modification time of the folder is recent. But if the folder was already present, then neither the scan nor browsing thru the web ui will show the new files.
Updating the modification time of an existing folder that contains wv files, make the wv files to appear just by browsing, but the album is not listed as recently added album.
It happened again with opus file extension!

I'm sorry, but you're in error.
I tried it again with just dropping some random tracks in an existing folder and did a folderscan.
The changed album indeed didn't come up as recently added. But browsing to the album showed all the tracks I just copied to that folder.
So on that part Subsonic works flawless.
That Subsonic doesn't show the changed albums as "Recently added" seems correct to me. Imho "Recently added" is not "Recently changed".
