Hello A little question from a newbee

when i scan my music folders, files with ascii in the filename will not be visible in my album playlist
it will show up below my album like:

============================================================================
1 Tattoo (Instrumental) Peter Maffay 1:16
3 Sonne In Der Nacht (Version 2010) Peter Maffay 4:12
4 Und Es War Sommer (Version 2010) Peter Maffay 5:07
6 Eiszeit (Version 2010) Peter Maffay 6:01
7 Freiheit, Die Ich Meine (Version 2010) Peter Maffay 4:44
8 Glaub An Mich (Version 2010) Peter Maffay 4:14
9 Halt Dich An Mir Fest (Version 2010) (Bonus) Peter Maffay 4:26
10 Josie (Version 2010) (Bonus) Peter Maffay 4:11
11 Tiefer (Version 2010) Peter Maffay 4:42
12 Steppenwolf (Version 2010) (Bonus) Peter Maffay 3:38

============================================================================

02 Schatten In Der Haut Ttowiert (Version 2010).mp3
05 ber 7 Brcken Musst Du Geh'n (Version 2010).mp3

============================================================================

(when i rename the files it works but i don't want to change all the filenames.)

I allready did some search in this forum but that didn't do the job.
Please how to fix this.

My Version is subsonic:
6.1.3 (build e408c9) – October 31, 2017

Maybe this post helps you: http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17640&p=74897.

This is usually caused by using a different locale n the file system.

Hope this helps

I tried that but it still doesn't work

Some more information

I'm running proxmox 5.1 (like vmware)
In there i'm running a ubuntu virtual machine.
In that VM i mounted my synology nas drive like: 192.168.1.199:/volume1/MyMusic /MyMusic nfs defaults 0 0
when i go to the mounted folder all files are looking the right way.
So the mounted Music folder is oke.
MY Locale = en_US.UTF-8
What else could it be.

PROBLEM SOLVED AFTER REMOVING DATABASE AND SET THE RIGHT LOCALE FIRST
