Subsonic Music Server Cannot Find Music on Synology Anymore

I am running latest Synology OS, latest Subsonic server on a Windows 10 PC (updated) that accesses the music share:

\\DISCOVERY\Music\FLAC

Discovery is my Synology server.

I'm getting "Folder not found" errors on the subsonic server. It worked 1 hour ago, then I updated Subsonic. How do I fix this?

Thanks

Are the computers on a domain?
Can you browse the share with your account this is logged on to the pc running subsonic?
Are you running the subsonic service as a user or system account?

The computers are on the same network in my home. I can navigate to the files using the exact same file path using the file browser or whatever it's called in Windows (explorer?)

Subsonic is running as a user I would suppose. How would I know?

Confirm the sharing settings on your Synology.
Post what the sharing settings are set for on the Synology.

The "Music" share has permissions set to read/write for my login. In fact that's the setting for pretty much every user.

If you've updated Subsonic that means that the account running the subsonic service is reset to the default System account which has very likely no acces /priviliges to the shares on your NAS.
Change this according to instructions on http://www.subsonic.org/pages/getting-started.jsp#1

Trying to do the same following directions here http://www.subsonic.org/pages/getting-started.jsp#1
But when in the Log On tab and enter my Windows user name and password I get "The account name is invalid or does not exist, or the password is invalid for the account name specified." But I just used same account name and pw to log into windows.
Any suggestions?

Use the "Browse"button to enter your username when you're changing the account that's running the Subsonic-service.
If you log in to Windows as B4S, you must enter the user name as .\B4S.
But using the browse button will make sure you will be using the correct accountname.

Thanks. When I go to Browse there are no users to select. I just set up this PC, so have not created any users. On Windows 10, when it prompted me to "make a Microsoft account" I made a new one, and those credentials were what I used to log into Windows as the PC was starting up. So I think I am using the "built in administrator" account?

Sorry I think this is mostly my being new to Windows. Do I need to create a new user account?

Thanks.

When you use the browse button in services.msc, you should also notice a button "Advanced"
If you click that button you open a new window. Here you should find an option "Search" .
If you used that option you should see some accounts like:
Administrator
Guest
Local Service
Network Service
Your Account
Perhaps Another Account
Now you should be able to select your account to run the Subsonic Service.
