symlink

Postby mikefritzbln » Fri Feb 23, 2018 11:58 am

Hi,
I moved my Subsonic folder to an external SSD and set a Sim link. Unfortunately, Subsonic doesn't start any more. no information is written into the log files so I don't get any information about which errors occur No information is written to the log files. which changes I have to make or what I have to pay attention to so that Subsonic restarts normally

Linux/Mac system?

Make sure the symlink itself, as well as the targeted folder, is chmod 777 (assuming nobody else has access to the box you're hosting it on). It may be that subsonic, running as a non-priv user, may not be able to follow the link down to the actual target.

Just a thought, no promises.
