Android App doesn't show files in root library folder

Problem Description: When looking for songs in one of my top level library folders on Android I can't see files that are in that root folder. The web app shows them fine.
Troubleshooting Steps: Forcing re-scan / rebooting phone.
Playback Application and version: Latest Version from Play Store

I think that's an oversight in the App or a bug in the API, but I'm more likely thinking the app. The API call ("getIndexes") is supposed to list songs in the root of a music folder, but it may be that the App didn't consider that a likely possibility and so had no code to handle it and render them somehow. I know my own app doesn't deal with that very well, either, because I never tested it...as again an oversight: I don't have any music files in my musicFolder roots.
