Feels like it could be after the latest Windows Java update (version 8, update 171).
Never had this problem before...

I started having the same issue recently, and it's definitely related to the most recent Java update. Uninstalling Java and downgrading back to the version packaged with the Subsonic installer fixed it for me.

Hopefully there will be an Subsonic update ...

I noticed the same today.
The question is if it is really a bug of Java or if a fix is needed for subsonic to compy with the newest java-update.
As there are always also fixes for security issues in new java-updates it cannot be a solution to downgrade permanently to older versions.

Looking for a solution I found out that Oracle is offering already update 172 to download manually.

I tried this one and till now everything seems to be o.k. again.
