Subsonic on Freenas

Hello all,

I'm a UX designer by trade and dabble with the coding side, so apologize in advance for being noobie.

I've built a Freenas box for my home media server with a RAIDZ2 array consisting of 10 4TB drives. I'm happy with the base install and have Plexserver running happily. Shares are all working nicely.

But Plexserver really sucks with music. I installed the Subsonic plugin for Freenas in a jail and have it up and running with no problems.

HOWEVER, I can't seem to find my media folders.

The media shares are set up with the following path on Freenas (which is a Freebsd derivative).

/mnt/data/Media/Audio/SUBSONIC

I have verified that this is the same case as on the installation.

Here's a screenshot in subsonic and one from the jails storage set up.

Thanks in advance guys.

Check to make sure you are logged in as an administrator and the drives are enabled. Maybe that will do the trick. Good luck.

Remember to give the user that's running the Subsonic proces the correct privileges on your media folders.
Looking at your screenshot it seems that you overlooked to do this.
Once you resolved this issue another point of interest would be to give the admin account privileges to acces your mediafolder : Settings >> Users >> admin> Allow access to these media folders:
