Dreaded 503

ok server crashed or something and now I have the dreaded 503 error. I backed up everything in the subsonic/db folder, deleted it then placed a backup of the subsonic script file back in there but the 503's remained. Deleted everything but then I have no playlist, no users, etc.

Is there a way I can get back any of my settings without starting over at this point? What about the subsonic.backup file that is created, what is it good for?
