Issues with Subsonic not buffering

Hi all, I'm using v.6.1.5 (build 759abe) with jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_172, HSQLDB, Linux (107.4 MB / 145.5 MB).
I've noticed lately my streams aren't buffering well. I'm wondering if there's a hiccup in Subsonic somehow where it's not buffering correctly? I've tried clearing my database, rebooting my server, etc. It locks up in the middle of songs both on a web player and in the Subsonic app for Android.
Is anyone else having these issues?

I'm still having this issue and now it's locking up sometimes in the Subsonic app. I have increased buffer size to 768MB but it's still doing this. Anything else I need to try?

Is there a difference using LAN i.e localhost or local IP to WAN connection?
How is your server connected WLAN or wire ...?

Thanks 3d. The server is connected to LAN. My server doesn't have wireless.
