Can't access server via mobile data

if i try and access subsonic using my mobile data, i get the "network error trying 1/4" message. if connect with wifi, im on the server instantly.running subsonic on windows 10. canyousee me says port 4040 is open. app is set to use that. android subsonic app is set to allow mobile data. a friend tried to access my server too and he cant get on it, he's on his home wifi. i have the premium license, it's due to expire 30th september. server version is 6.1.5 (build 759abe) – December 1, 2018. the windows app should be the latest version as i reinstalled it two days ago. i've been browsing for two days to find a solution, ive found a few other people with this issue but no fix. even emailed dev as he helped me out in the past but no reply so far.i'm guessing subsonic is dead since dev hasnt been on in almost six months.

are you using your own domain or the subsonic domain?
Have you tried to connect to the subsonic demo server?

There are a lot of people using subsonic, while it is working smooth and without minor bugs. So it is not death ...

only just got notified of your reply. yup i've tried everything possible, spent hours on it and decided to switch to muzecast instead, much more active and zero issues so far. thanks for your reply but im done with subsonic

Yeah but musezack is totally different, less options and Android only ....

I have just installed the server software and defined a music folder with nearly 40000 tracks.
On the mobile device I have the PRO version and it connects and plays just fine.
The server is still showing "Folder Scan in progress" nearly 24 hours after it started to scan, and the analyzing replaygain is at 55% now.
is this normal for an install with this number of tracks ? how often will the server re-scan the entire folder?

40.000 Tracks scanning two days, I have 260.000 Titles a couple of hundreds Videos, round about 20 Familie Members with Apple, Windows Mobile, Android, Blackberry all is working smooth (sometimes with a little help of Subfire Suite), scanning lasts round about 5 Minutes.

Go ahead an be happy, but don't troll around. That this Forum has not so much traffic is not because the software is so bad ... contrariwise

Subsonic running on a an old Windows server here and "27,283 Music tracks and Video's from subsonic.g8dhe.net server" a rescan each night takes less than 5 minutes ......
A complete first scan took about 30 minutes after removing the .db files ....
Not sure why yours takes so long maybe other problems ?

That was a post in the Muzak Forum, the other guy told it was better than subsonic ...
