Subsonic Forum

hi. i renewed my license for subsonic premium today. the instructions say to enter it in the settings/subsonic premium tab. my setup doesn't have that option in settings. i'm still running subsonic 4.9 on an old mac server. it works just fine and i can't upgrade because the machine is slimited to an older version of java which isn't compatable with newer versions of subsonic. how can i enter my license key? thanks!

Not a direct answer, but maybe the Bellsoft java JDK https://bell-sw.com/pages/java-8u222/ will let you run the latest Subsonic version.

thanks, that's interesting. maybe down the road when i have some time... for now i'd just like to get the thing up and running like it was before my license expired.

ok, seems to be working now. i guess with the older software you don't need to do anything in the interface. just go to settings/network and make sure that your server is listed as registered.
