indexinleftsidebar=TRUE, ArtistImage, PlayRadio button title

With the death of Adobe Flash I'm finally making the move to newer versions of Subsonic. It wasn't broke so I never fixed it! I shouldn't have waited, speed and stability are much improved and there are some amazing new features.

But I need help now, after two days reverse-tweaking the UI, I could use guidance for three changes I hope to make. Anyone out there willing to point an old Subsonic member in the right direction? I'm on Windows10 Pro with fully-updated version of Java and Subsonic running as a service. License Subsonic Premium Version 6.1.5 (build 759abe) – December 1, 2018 Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_152, HSQLDB, Windows 10 (132.0 MB / 246.2 MB) Here are my hopes...

1. Show Index in Left Sidebar
Most of us grew used to the left side A-Z index. Rather than teaching them all where to reactivate it in Settings>Personal>the_18th_among_25_possible_settings... I'd much rather make it the default setting for all new and existing users. Is there a way to edit the database with a text editor or... please advise!

2. albumInfoTable fails to find any artistImage on LastFM
The super col LastFM lookup function fails to find a single artist image so every page is uglied up with this same generic star image https://lastfm-img2.akamaized.net/i/u/3 ... 21562f.png I'd rather NOT have any image display, or else have the image pulled from my local parent folder (yes I have artist images stored locally) But where is this code so I can tinker with it? I've found every other UI feature I wanted to tweak, and thought I'd found this one too but deleting all lines refering to ArtistImage in _jsp.java files hasn't stopped that ugly grey star from displaying everywhere. I guess I could tack on the related complaint that AllMusic links are failing consistently e.g. "No search results were found for Miles Davis" I'd justa soon disable that link. Please advise!

3. PlayRadio button title
The text on the button itself is deeply confusing to me and my older users since it has nothing to do with "radio" at all. Is there a way I could retitle the button to something more intuitive like "Play Similar"? That's at least consistent with the nomenclature of "Similar Artists" that already appears directly above the button. It also describes the button's function accurately. The function is called from albumMain_jsp.java and artistMain_jsp.java but the term "Play Radio" appears nowhere in either file. I'm no programmer, not since 8-bit computers, but I'm confident using a HexEditor or Text Editor, can someone suggest an easy edit to retitle that one button?

Thanks for any and all willing to guide me, seriously.

Oh, and a fourth fix. How to stop "Top Songs" from displaying above the list of albums in artistMain_jsp.java? It just clutters up the page unnecessarily, IMO.

I now see that dev has halted for now, so that's one answer to my questions. Here are my other solutions...

Having hit the limits of my ability to tweak Java. Some fixes are more easily done by individual users under Settings->Personal as follows:

Turn ON your A-Z Index under Settings-->Personal
Note, the old shortcuts to Incoming, Sun Ra, Film Comps, Metal, etc. now only appear when you click INDEX in the top frame

Turn OFF Auto-Expand
Tthe note icon is a better way to expand/collapse the playlist, unless you prefer mouse rollover

Turn OFF Artist Bio
I've already populated Comments with better, more accurate bio and album info. Subsonics call-out to Last.fm is unreliable and that big ugly grey star appears 100% of the time when it's supposed to display a photo of the artist instaed. API death or something, better to just switch off Artist Bio completely.

Finally, I was completely mistaken about TOP SONGS garbaging up the UI. Turns out I was seeing stray tracks in my own parent folder, I just needed to tuck them into a "Miscellaneous Tracks" subfolder. Chalk that one up to dumbass user error where dumbass=me.
