Can't connect to https or from work

I have been using http for years on 4040 I noticed that recently if I am outside of my house and not connected to wifi I cant connect to Subsonic. Like when I am at work. I am on Windows 10. So I started to look into the issue and can't figure it out. That's one problem.

The second problem is I thought that maybe I should go to https so I followed the instructions and set the tray icon to https on 4343 and restarted Subsonic and that isn't working at all. Even on my local network over wifi I have been looking on Google to find out how to fix it but I can't seem to find an answer. All that works right now is http over the local network. I am on a verizon fios router (Which is Frontier now) and figured I should look at that and I can see the http port configuration. So I tried to manually add the https but that didn't help either. I don't see in Subsonic on the Network tab where you set it up for https only http. I am not a network guru so I can't seem to figure it out.

Wouldn't https be more secure than http? And if so how do I make it so I can connect when I am at work. It used to be fine. I looked at the firewall and its listed so I don't know what the issue is.

As usual .... we are no mentalists!

W10 which version? Home, Pro, Enterprise, Education?
HTTPS which Instructions? Which HTTPS Certificate provider you are using?
Are you using your own Domain or Subsonic Service?
Which Protokoll you are using? iPv4 or iPv6 or iPv6DSlight?
DHCP Server in Router activated or fixed IP's in LAN?
Port Forwarding activated in router?
