Hi,
I have been using the iSub app on my iPhone for nearly a year. It has always worked well until recently.
When I recently added several new artist folders, and did a loading function on my phone, it takes a long time, and comes back with "Subsonic Error - The request Timed out".
I bought another app play:sub, since iSub is not really being supported beyond IOS update fixes, thinking that maybe a recent iPhone update broke it.
Same problem. Also does not work Substreamer, same sort of issue.
I went to my older phone, which has an older version of IOS, thinking that the apps broke, not uncommon. Same Timeout error.
The playlists show up, and load just find when I refresh them, but that is painful way to play music, which I want random access to in the best case scenario.
Anyone have any idea how I can fix this?
Can it be fixed?
It could be a Mac OSX problem, in which case I may need to reformat and reinstall the OS, Subsonic, and all of the music files (65K worth mind you!), not a fun prospect at all.
I have been running all of this time, on an old iMac, running Yosemite. As I said, it has all been running fine until this issue popped up out of the blue.
Any help would be truly appreciated.
I sure would like a solution.
