I can no longer access my music server from the internet

Recently we lost the ability to access our music server from outside our home network. We believe this is due to some security changes made by our internet provider, comcast xfinity here in the US. I've worked with my IT resource who helped me set up subsonic access the first time, and he's quite certain about comcast creating the issue. That said, I can no longer access my server remotely.

I'm hoping that someone else has run into this issue and can recommend a solution. Otherwise the main reason I use Subsonic has just kind of gone away... I hope somebody has an answer

Did your IP address change? My server is on a home network and sometimes the router changes the internal addresses.

Because iPv4 is limited some ISP's are changing to iPv6 DS-lite, mainly this happens here in Germany to Cable Customers. If that happens you have real Problems to access everything behind the router. You have to call your Provider and ask for v4 IP's, or you need a service ...
