Sonos App Unable to display "Browse Library"

There appears to be an issue for me with the Subsonic Service (v6.1.6) in Sonos. I believe the latest Sonos App update (Version 11.1 Build 56076090) pushed something such that I am unfortunately not able to see the artists under the "Browse Library" navigation. If I click the "Browse Library" in the navigation, it looks like this until it times out.

Then it says this.

In looking at my subsonic.log I do not see anything more than this error as it relates to Sonos.

Code: Select all

However, if you look at the Playlists, Starred, or Album Lists selections from the navigation of the App items do show. My most played Albums are here...

You can also use the Sonos search function and see the Artist/Album/Song/Genre. Here I searched for Radiohead, whilst navigated into the Subsonic service.

Then selected "Radiohead" and saw all of the albums for that Artist.

Then was able to select the album

and play it.

My theory is it is something with the way Sonos lists the library now from their App. This will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Interesting, so am I the only one seeing this issue? I kind of figured it was a problem all of us with the Subsonic configured as a Service in Sonos would be seeing.

"Buehler, Buehler, Buehler..."

I have seen this post but I'm not Sonos User ...
I recognized this "All FLAC, All the time..." may be that's the problem?
May be sonos has a problem to read the tags properly.

Thanks for your idea.
My library is all FLAC, and I typically transcode to all devices, except my Sonos system. It hasn't had trouble in the past with the FLAC metadata/ tag data and allows me to see the library via other browsing methods with Sonos. That being said, maybe something in the new Sonos API struggles with the FLAC tags. Transcoding would be separate from reading though.

Not sure, again thanks for your response.
