Can't connect to Sonos Streaming

Hi folks,
I have just purchased Subsonic premium to use as a streaming service on my home network for our Sonos devices .
I can't seem to add the Subsonic service in Sonos as I am getting an account error suggesting my subsonic account is not valid.
I have only just created the account and subscribed -does it take a period of time before you can add the service to Sonos?


Running on Windows 10 PC

License Subsonic Premium (expires June 2, 2021)
Version 6.1.6 (build 0cfa60) – November 10, 2019

Sonos Controller for PC v11.1
Build 56076090


Using both windows Sonos app and iphone Sonos app gives the same result

I’ve fixed the problem, but can’t explain it….
I reset my Subsonic password to one without any special characters and the linking now works
