Hi all,
Pretty new to Subsonic, but purchased it to front-end my Netgear NAS based collection of music to a multi-room Sonos implementation. I have purchased the Premium license and am on the whole extremely pleased however....

I keep finding Albums missing from my collection when using either the subsonic web interface or via a Sonos controller.

For example I have 5 albums by Blondie and a bunch of Blondie tracks on compilation albums.

The compilations are showing up, the individual Blondie albums are not. I had a similar problem with another artist and resolved it by forcing a manual rescan of the library but this particular problem won't go away.

Whilst the Blondie example is easy as I spotted it quickly when I went to play a specific album, there are other artists with only a subset of albums showing

All advice very gratefully received

I have tried removing the library and re-adding it rescanning as well as a complete rescan

I'm running on Windows 10 Pro
i9-9900K @3.6Ghz
64.0Gb Ram

NAS is Netgear readnynas connected over Gigabit ethernet wired with CAT6

As a quick update - I have just read in two new CD's that arrived today and they were picked up by Subsonic immediately

Where are the Albums missing? In recently added, or Index view?
The recently added section has some inconsistency. I found that the "recently added" was different in Browser and my Play:sub App at iPhone. Michael Bech Hansen. the Author, found that are different API callings available and that causes the difference. Calling the Artist via "Index" should always show the complete Albums. Also edited Albums not shown always as new, even if you reset the time stamp of the files, but in most cases it is helpful to set ALL Files and folders of an Artist to actual date and manual rescan to find missing albums.
Because using Airplay, I can't answer to sonos questions.

Hi there,
Albums are missing from index view.
I will have a look at the dates - although as I have just recreated the library on the NAS I suspect everything is set to 6th June 2020 - but best to check! -I will feed back

That's a missunderstanding.
It seems that Subsonic (Scan) uses the Timestamp of the Musicfiles and folder to recognize if it is new or not.
If your missing albums are still in the database, but because unknown circumstances not shown in the Index, you can do what you want unless subsonic recognizes the Album as new.
I don't know how to set a new date to the missing albums at your NAS, but at Windows installation and Linux it is still working in most cases.
Hope that is clear now

Also there might be a problem that some folders are readable to the clients but not to the user/task that is started for subsonic, but that is nothing for remote diagnosis. For that you need to read the log files of the system.
