[SOLVED] Shuffle All/All Songs List?

I feel like I'm going crazy...I can't seem to find anyway to view all songs/shuffle all songs from the web interface. None of the subsonic web apps (Jamstash) seem to have this either. I swear it used to be an option...Am I crazy or is this really absent? If it's absent is there anyway I could add it semi-easily? E.g. editing the HTML to add a tab to return a list of all songs or something?
Thanks in advance!

It is still available,
Go to more and set the option to
Play more random songs when end of play queue is reached

on main screen use shuffle

So my issue with the way the shuffle is setup isn't a short list, its that it seems to be based on albums not songs. So I hit shuffle play on the "All" tab it just shuffles the first 40 albums by the first 40 artists unless I manually click to another page of 40 and it'll shuffle those 40 albums. If I go to "Random" it's still based on albums, but here it's the first 22 albums from the first 22 artists. If I hit "Random" again, it shows the same 22 albums in a different order. The Shuffle Play then only plays songs from those albums. So the only way to "Shuffle" music is by shuffling songs from a single page of albums at a time. I have ~35 pages worth of albums so this is a pretty large issue. It seems really weird that this would be some kind of limitation of subsonic (especially when my android app can do just what I'm wanting), yet here we are. So there seems to be no real way to shuffle *all* your music in one place? I don't mind regenerating a list every 50 songs or so, but I don't want to hear 50 songs from the same set of 0.02% of my total library.

EDIT: Don't mean to sound unappreciative of your response or disgruntled lol definitely appreciate you taking the time to reply. Just want to clarify exactly what it is I'm trying to do to hopefully nail down what I'm trying to do with subsonic before I duproot and try another service.

Sorry my mistake ...
Sometimes I forget that my subsonic is always in Jukebox mode, becaus I have it connected via DAC to my HiFi. Most of my collection is lossless.

So in Jukebox Mode using more at the left menu you can activate the mentioned "Play more random songs when end of play queue is reached". I didn't use it for a longer time, because my Musicbase is good for mor than 20,000h and if I forget to disable it is (was) running for days. Also, all my Musik is in one folder, I can choose it at the end of the options and hitting ok, it is (was) real shuffling all over the Music Base.
Today I found, it is working anymore. I guess it is a Browser issue, because Firefox has changed some things, but I'm not shure.

Since I'm using iOS Apps (Play:Sub), I can switch Subsonic too into Jukebox Mode, server is 24/7, from there I have also the option for a full nonstop shuffle over the complete music base.

BTW. Airsonic can handle 100 Titles but dont reload ... 100 Titles are good for round about 400h, but Airsonic has still Problems with lossless decoding. I'm running Subsonic at W10P and Airsonic in an Ubuntu VM

Ah, ok that makes sense. In my case Jukebox mode wouldn't work for me as I would use the shuffle exclusively when I'm trying to listen elsewhere than the main server PC. Still, thank you for taking the time to respond and providing information!

The Shuffle Songs feature is hidden a bit, at least in the Main UI.

Click "More +" in the sidebar. There you can see the "Shuffle Play" option which allows you to shuffle up to 50 songs (with ability to filter genre, year, folder - your mileage may vary on how useful those are).

Appreciate the reply! However, when I tried this I couldn't get any artist past the B's (as in any artist name that started with a C or so on never showed up) despite regenerating the playlist many times.

EDIT: Just tried changing the selected genre of the shuffle play to a specific genre instead of "Any". "Pop" for example has a "(55)" next to it (I believe to indicate there are 55 songs in my library attributed to the "Pop" genre). However, selecting this genre only returns two songs, both by "B" artists, despite the number of songs being set to 20, 50, whatever.

can't help with that - the random call works fine for me. though have you recently made changes to your folders? maybe do an explicit scan, then when done, click Clean Up Database? the db and id3 info might be out of sync with where the files actually are.

Very weird. And no I haven't. What's your folder structure? Mine is basically music/artist/album/songs.mp3 wonder if the number of top level "artists" folders is overwhelming it.

I rarely use that particular feature, so I can't really say much. Sorry.

Just figured out the issue was a (weirdly) corrupted database/install? I went to "About Subsonic" and it said I had 0 Artists, 0 Albums and only 222 songs. Which is weird because they were all showing up in the index/album views. I did a clean reinstall of subsonic and now the shuffle is working. Thank you everyone for your help!
