artwork issue

for some reason, a good proportion of my library seemingly didn't load the artwork for albums correctly, below is an example:

is there a way to reload the artwork? or to fix them one by one? the artwork is all fine on my local rive and embedded in the files.

Subsonic is running at Windows, Mac and Linux so it is not easy to find a reason.
No further information if jpg, png, tiff or whatever or what size.

For general, setting files and folder of an album to actual date will cause a rescan of the files, or better they will be recognized in subsonic as new by rescan.

sorry, i should have included much more info.

i'm using Windows, artwork will be mainly .jpg or .png, size will vary but probably usually between 300x300 and 1500x1500

causing a rescan of all the files is what i'm looking to do i think, but i'm not quite sure what you mean by this

So I'd use this to make it look like the folders were created or modified today, and then rescan?

That's what I do once I see scan problems, just alter the top level folder and set it to propagate down all levels and files.

A PNG @1500x1500 can have fast 15MB, same Size JPG has 10% of Size, may be that is causing problems. Since you are on windows, I'm using XNview to modify the pictures and optimize the size. I have always 500x500 and they will be 40-60kb in most times .
For MP3 there are different versions for the Tags available where all informations stored. MP3Tag is a free tool for editing the Tags since I know about MP3 (and that is a long time ) it is well maintained, regular updates and bugfixes.
Using old versions of the Tags can cause also problems
Total Commander is also a neat tool. It is using split screen, nice to copy or move files, a lot more and it can also modify the date of files easily. It is not free, but worse the small money and you can use it by pressing a button at a nag screen.
I'm old, coming from DOS and Norton Commander, can't live without it
