Hi all,

Anyone else encountered this? (Error on page). It manifests itself as not being able to add items to playlist. Looks like IE8 might be a bit more rigid about the markup...
Still running 3.6 by the way.

Hi,

I tried to reproduce, but it works for me. IE 8.0.6001.18702 and Subsonic 3.7.beta1.

Anyone else seeing this problem?

I just tried my server with IE8 (version is 8.0.6001.18702) & mine is working just fine. I'm running Subsonic 3.6 (build 806) - my Subsonic server is running on Win2K & the PC I tried it on with IE8 is Running WinXP Pro w/ SP3.

I always use Firefox though & it works OK as well.

The Error on Page is displayed in the status bar in the lower left corner of my IE 8.0.6001.18702 at work. It sits on a 64 bit XP Pro SP2, but I don't think that should matter much. No problems on either IE7 or Opera 9.64 at home on an XP Pro (32 bit) SP3.

I'm on 3.6 806 just like Warped here and his setup, being similar to mine, should give the same result (from time to time at least). My host is a WHS PP2.

The funny thing is, it's not consistent, and deleting subsonic cookies and cache seem to solve the problem. Which leads me to belive that is why Sindre's not experiencing the same on his 3.7 beta.

But as I said, Warped should experience some of the same problems, and as he doesn't (and I really really hate flukes) could someone PM me for access to my server and help me out with the IE8 issue?

I know, I know.. Why use IE when I could use something else... The thing is, I'd like to keep me office box running as few memory hogging pieces of software as possible and I'm afraid we're sort of dependent on IE for a number of different reasons. (Hope I killed the "which browser is better" discussion before it startet, as it often seems to in these kinds of forums)

...sorry for the long post... it's been one of those days....
