subsonic database issues synology nas

i have database of 53000 flac files on a synology nas and have added 150 sets of wav files - these tooks ages to scan and remain greyed out
deleted and rescanned files still show!
clean up has no effect /9not working
i have deleted and reinstalled but some where database remains
any help please
