Subsonic took out my network controller

So after many hours attempting to get subsonic to work on my sonos, I realised that my network controller driver was taken out. So no network or internet. Finally, I restored Windows 7 to a checkpoint just before I installed subsonic, rebooted and everything is tickety-boo. Shame because subsonic has a lovely UI and offers a lot but it's just too hard to get working and if it's incompatible with being on my LAN, it has to go.
