Morning

After evaluation I have come to the conclusion that SS is not reading the tags correctly especially the Genre Tag

Showing as having no Genre Tag which is normally next to the album length

Click on edit tags and shows as Dance

showing here as Pop

I don't know what tags (IDv3.1 0r IDv3.2) SS is reading if 3.2 then that is one whole lot of work to be done to get my DB in a fully functional working condition

Any luck with this? I have an album where the tag is a period(.), but all tracks on album on tagged as 'indie pop'. This is shown only on the android dsub app so maybe an issue there but not sure why. The desktop subsonic shows 'indie pop'

Subsonic is basically abandonware - it is what it is. I personally don't see what you see - all my tags are displayed as expected. You might try reviewing the tag data outside of Subsonic using something like Mp3Tag ( https://www.mp3tag.de/en/ ) and making any expected corrections there.

Yep, that's what I have been doing, so it appears it is an issue with dsub since tags are fine on subsonic and on files.

Yeah, I know...It's been abandonware for awhile now. Sad...still the best if one does not want to settle on streaming apps.
