Subsonic Forum

Hello,

I'm trying to change the port of subsonic
on defauld it is on 80 if i type in 192.168.2.2 (my local Ip adres) it works
I want to change the port to 8000, i go to the subsonic control panel stop the service change the port to 8000 and restart the service.
I type in internet exploren 192.168.2.2:8000 but it doesn't work.

I have disactivated the windows firewall and i have no other firewall. I'm testing it al on a local PC.
I have Windows vista Ultimate and the version of subsonic is 3.7 beta 1 but it's the same with version 3.6

When you right click on the subsonic service and choose to Open Subsonic in Browser does it work?

No that is not possible

He is trying to load http://localhost/ and that doesn't work
It only works with 192.168.2.2 (my IP adres)

If you are testing it all on the local PC then localhost testing should be possible.

I have reinstalled it but it has no effect.

If i want to connect from an other PC to my PC where subsonic is installed, it doesn't work eather.
