Album List

I have just installed Subsonic on my Windows Home Server. As the test I put about 75 MP3s in the directory "\\Homeserver\Music\Mitch". I put that as the music directory in Subsonic. I had Subsonic re-index.

I'm only showing one album, named "Mitch", on the left side of the screen. If I look at my MP3s, several but not all of them list album names in the tags. The ones that had nothing listed for the album now say "Mitch" after Subsonic finished indexing.

Is this how it should be? I thought Subsonic would pick up the album names from the MP3s and list each one on the left. I also assumed that those MP3s without album tags would be listed individually on the left.

I initially had my music directory as \\Home server\Music. When I did this there were no albums listed on the left and all the files were individually listed.

Am I doing something wrong?
