Subsonic Forum

Ever since I began using a VPN I have not been able to access my Subsonic server. This VPN does allow port forwarding. Trouble is there is one number and it is set by the service. In applications in which I can change ports it works. I can find no way to change the port number from 4040 to the VPN's number.

On the Subsonic site it says:
Open the Subsonic Control Panel by clicking on the Subsonic tray icon. Change the port number to any random number between 1025 and 65,000.

But, at least on a Mac, I see no where to do this. See image below.

Am I missing something?

Although not a mac user, on Windows there is a file called "subsonic.properties" in the root file location that you can also configure the port number in.

Thanks! Same file is on Mac and easily edited with a plain text editor. Subsequent check on Subsonic's web UI> Settings shows port change and notes it is successfully forwarded. But I'm still having trouble connecting. At least this part is fixed thanks to you.
