Fedora 11/Apache 2.2 help. (new to Linux)

Postby rickeo » Wed Jun 17, 2009 6:49 pm

Tried to follow the tutorial here: http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1569

No dice, don't know what I did so I started over.

Ok, so the default document root for Fedora is '/var/www/html', should I put the subsonic folder (with all the subsonic files in it) right into the document root?

There really isn't a clear Apache 2.2 install guide anywhere so i'm a little overwhelmed. I successfully installed Wordpress, and its running fine. I put the wordpress folder right into the document root. To access it I just go to localhost/wordpress.

EDIT

NEVERMIND!

Turns out I was trying to access it locally with localhost which isn't allowed. Once I tried it from another machine via the IP all was well.
