Skipping through tracks in Jukebox mode

Hi,

I waited for the release of 3.7 before installing as the Jukebox mode is something that I was after.

Is there a way of skipping within songs through a browser whilst the music is playing on the server?

Most of my music come in mixes (long single tracks) and so this is would be really handy.

Thanks and great work! :D

Is this easy to implement and could it be included in a future release?

If not does anyone know any work arounds?

Thanks.

It's not that easy to implement, mostly due to the fact that the player control (progress slider etc) and the actual player are on two different computers.

I agree that it would be nice to have, but it won't be prioritized for the next few releases, unfortunately.

do most of these long mixes in single track include a .cue file form wherever you obtain them ?
if so there is an easy workaround for you :D

Have used it for years will spit out the individual tracks of the mix in just a few secs and is very customizable as far as the output tags ... works great on them MOS albums and such...

hope this helps

They don't unfortunately. Does this software just create another folder with the amount of tracks contained within the CUE sheet? If so then this would use double the disk space since I'd have one big mix (which I'd prefer to keep) and then the mix cut into however many track.

Can Subsonic read from CUE sheets by any chance? I could then create one using some software (name all the tracks the same) and put it into the music directory.
