Help setting up access from internet

First time posting here. Thanks for great app.

I have managed to Setup Subsonic no problem also a account with no-ip. My networking knowledge is a bit basic and don't know how to setup access from the internet.

Any help would be appreciated

if its 80 or whatever port you have it on, you have to set your router up (if your using one) to forward to the port subsonic is running on to the pc its running on.... if you get me?
then all you have to do is call up the address you have and there you will have subsonic up and running...
if your using a port other then 80 ie 8080 then you will have to call up your addres with www.address.com:8080

I put in my external ip address on my no-ip account and set redirect port 80 to port 6000. I set my router to open port 6000 for my pc's ip address also subsonic is set to port 6000. Still not working what am i doing wrong?

pm me the addres to your sever so i can have a look, some times on systems you cant use the main web address to get in to it... just like mine.
