Misconstrued "multiple players simultaneously"

Love Subsonic, but one of the features I read (right on the home page) was "You can stream to multiple players simultaneously, for instance to one player in your kitchen and another in your living room." I guess I misinterpreted it- what I wanted to do was start one stream (like a Jukebox) and have that stream played across multiple players in my house (one upstairs, one kitchen, one basement). I wasn't sure about the delays/latency/buffering causing them to be way out of sync but on a local net without much else it might work. Although I can view what is on another player and see what is playing I can't seem to see how to get the audio. Is this my misinterpretation of the statement and you can't do that or does this feature exist and I just don't know how to do it?

You could just make diffrent users for them room's.
But what your asking about, all you have to do is have diffrent players for the room's you want.
This is done by going: settings, players, then select your player and clone it.
You would be best to name your cloned player so you no what one to pick for the room your in.

I'm trying to do the same thing. Haven't figured out how with subsonic yet - but you can do that with squeezecenter (free from logitech)
http://www.logitechsqueezebox.com/suppo ... enter.html
point each device to
http://your-server:9000/stream.mp3
squeezecenter will create a player entry for each device automatically
then you login to the web interface
http://your-server:9000 and under [select device] at the top right - you can synchronize the players (will all play same thing at same time)

IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO TO THIS WITH SUBSONIC( OR AT LEAST THE STREAMING URL) LET ME KNOW

You can do this using a streaming app like VLC. Use the jukebox feature and stream the output from the server. Connect to the stream from the other computers using vlc or winamp like you would any radio stream.
What would be nice would be if other users could see the same jukebox playlist without being an administrator. Then all the computers could have their own login an make additions to the playlist/jukebox.

Whatever the IP or hostname of the streaming machine is. You will need to specify this address on the streaming machine before the stream will begin.
