Music not found on LinkStation NAS
I've browsed through several topics on NAS drives, and everyone else seems to be able to use them fine.
I have a LinkSys LS-CHL 1TB drive attached to my router, and use it for UPnP streaming to my PS3, so that's where my library is located.
I've tried several ways to point Subsonic to that drive, but it never finds anything. When I move some of those same files to a USB drive, it finds them just fine, but as I mentioned, I want my library to stay on the NAS.
I have the drive mapped in Windows as Y: --> \\192.168.1.6\media
For some reason I've never been able to use the hostname to do the mapping, I think because my computer is set up on a work domain, but my home network is a workgroup?
I've tried pointing Subsonic to Y:\music, \\192.168.1.6\media\music, and even \\LSNAS\media\music (the hostname). I've even tried unmapping the drive and trying the two UNC addresses again. No luck.
The NAS is XFS formatted, could that be the problem? Or could it be the domain/workgroup thing? Has anyone else had any luck with an LS-CHL?
