Subsonic Forum

First, I'm new to Subsonic, and I've spent about half an hour searching the forum and main page for an answer, but I might have missed something. Also, if you need more information like logs or something, please tell me where to pull that from.

Subsonic's streaming works sporadically. When I load an album to play it, it will load a song, finish loading, and then go to the next song without playing, doing this for the whole playlist. If I move the song's position either on the last song or before the song has finished loading, it will play the song, but I can't get it to play any other way than moving the song's position off 0:00.

what kind of files have you tried to play when this happens?

its probably something with your transcoding settings, because the flashplayer in subsonic can only play mp3 files, so you need to allow transcoding by default as admin if you want to play other formats.

Then you need to activate it again in your current player settings. new players will have it on by default though

if it happens only when not playing mp3 files, this would be the case.

At the moment, I've only tested mp3s, which it doesn't work properly on.
