subsonic browser bar address

Hello

I am just wondering if subsonic can be accessed without the need to display the used port number in the browser address bar?.

You can use some thing like http://www.dyndns.com/ to use as a domain and just have subsonic using port 80.

Or you can integrate subsonic with a web-server. For instance using Apache ( link to tutorial: http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1569 )

Hello

Thanks for your reply, I am using subsonic on my HP Mediasmart Homeserver which is running my own domain name on IIS, your suggestions seem a lot when all I want to remove is the port number from the address, I have used fireplay before and that is accessed like so h**p://www.mydomain.com/fireplay

Is there a more simple way to do this?

I dont no if you can do the same with IIS, you will have to google that one :wink:
