KeepAlive problem

Postby burjast » Fri Nov 06, 2009 2:03 pm

My troubles exists after upgrade to version 3.8. It is not java update related, because last java update was in august (before version 3.8 was released)

This problem affects both music and video, in general.
When you play movie or song, connection is ESTABLISHED, and if you pause, connection is dropped after 60 seconds in every case. I'm running stand-alone version on slackware, and I don't know what more to do...

Iptables is not the reason, linux tcp keepalive is set to 2 hours, ... Newest java 6 update 17 jdk (which I installed today) didn't solve the problem. Even if I go to version 3.7 beta 1, problem still exist. I searched all forum and don't find anything.

Now i'm asking, if someone has similar problems and/or where to look for resolution, to keep connection alive... I'm not using any reverse proxy, just clean standalone version with default config.

Hi burjast!!

I have the same problem, but..I think that all linux subsonic users having this problem, but simply do not know!

This is a problem of the java server, because my server close correctly other connections , and only the subsonic connection are still ESTABLISHED in my network statistics. This realy bores me because create a mix of a lot of dead connection in a system that is not only for subsonic but run sftp rsync apache mysql and more other service...

anyone know a way to forcing to close dead connection to subsonic in a specified time?

Regards. :?
