port-forwarding issue

So I have Subsonic running on one computer in my network behind a buffalo whr-g300n router. I can access subsonic on all other computers on the network by going to 192.168.xx.x:8080 in my browser, no problems. I told my router to forward port 8080 of my static ip (160.xx.xx.xxx) to port 8080 of the ip of the computer running subsonic, but I can't access subsonic using my static ip. I checked and port 8080 of my static ip is open, but I cant get subsonic. Are there any other settings that could be interfering with this?

Do you have a firewall running on your subsonic computer?

I don't think there's any kind of firewall on the computer running it, it's on Ubuntu 9.10
