Video streaming to external player

Was wondering if anyone has gotten subsonic to stream to an external player yet? If you have can you share the process in which you got this to work?

What issues are you having? I think many here have been running it with external players for a while.

Just looking for information on how they got it going I got the internal to work now just wondering about the external

You've gone into the Settings > Players section and selected "External" or "External with playlist"? That's pretty much all you need to do to get it playing with VLC/Winamp iirc.
