What version of Flash does the player require?

I have a brand new Wii that I used to stream music on using Jinzora. Now that I have switched to Subsonic, it doesn't work. I believe the Opera browser in the Wii supports up to version 8 of flash. Youtube and other sites play audio/video just fine.

Any reason why Subsonic wouldn't play? I am guessing it is the flash version of the player required...

Like you mentioned, the Wii truly comes with a crippled browser without proper Flash support. I tried it too the other day and came to same conclusion as you: it won't work. 8)

On the technical aspects of Subsonic I can confirm that it required Flash 9.0.0 at the minimum. Now the fun part is that is DOES work on a PlayStation 3 as that does support Flash 9. Tested it before and confirmed to be working properly.

Check out this link.

It seems to indicate its at v9 -- but no actionscript support.

I did download the update referred to and can play youtube, etc. Does the Subsonic player require actionscript?
