Mac OS X install for non-techheads?
I would love to see a version of Subsonic for OS X that installs like any other OS X program: Double-click on an installer, make a few configuration choices, stream your music.
I have looked though a bunch of the forum topics related to installing on Mac OS X and have concluded that if you are not tech savvy and able to mess with the operating system through the terminal you are likely to damage your computer.
The thought of entering potentially dangerous commands, without understanding what they are doing and that can screw up your computer is a scary thought.
Does anyone know if somebody is working on a Mac solution for the every day computer user?
I have many gigabytes of music, mostly live shows that are not available anywhere else, that I would love to be able to stream at work and friends houses with my macbook, but not at the expense of damaging my computer.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers.
