Android - long pause between playlist items when in standby
First of all, great job on 3.9 beta 1 Sindre! My prior transcoding problems to the Android client have cleared up and things are getting dangerously close to perfect for my use. I definitely be donating soon, likely today.
One issue that I am now having is that, as the subject suggests, there is a long pause after one track ends in a playlist and before the next track begins. This seems to only happen when the phone has gone into standby (screen going dark). It will eventually go on to the next song, but the pause in between seems to last about a minute. Interestingly, if I press the power button during this pause, it will "kick-off" the next track playback immediately. Let me know if you need me to be more thorough with my observations. This is on a Nexus One with the latest update.
Thanks - and keep up the good work!
