Relocating the Player

Hello All,

Having used Mohican's guide to play video through Subsonic, I find I have more than a passing interest in moving the player (now occupying a 320x240 area) from the playlist field to the right column. The rest of the player controls can stay where they are, my sole interest is the player.

While making backups before editing things is a given, I can't say I trust myself enough to start gutting files without having an idea about which direction to head in. Any advice on how to see this through? I appreciate any and all responses.
