New External Player by default

Hi there,

I've searching for an answer to this one, but haven't had any success so far. So here's hoping you can help me.

I use Subsonic mainly at work to hear my music collection and I have no fixed PC to be at, that means a new player is created every time I connect from a different PC or IP. That's a bit annoying and the ideal for me would be a fixed player per user, but it seems that's not possible at the time.

Anyway, since Subsonic will create a new player many of the times I connect is there any way to make it create an "External Player with Playlist" by default instead of a web player? There are flash restrictions in the PCs at work and the web player doesn't work, so I have to go to the players settings and change the newly created player to external player every time in order to use media player.

If there was any way to define that the default new player is an external player it'd be great.

Any help?

Thanks

Just use external player with playlist in the settings and each time you click on a link it will download a m3u list which can be auto opened with VLC. Thats how I do it.

That's what I do now. But I have to do it for every new player that gets created. It's created as web player by default, and then I have to go to settings and change it to external player.

What I'd like was for the new players to be created as external players by default. And that I still haven't find out how to do... :?
